analyses [2, 7]. However, the most important parameter among them is the calorific value of coal. Calorific value is the heat capacity of a unit weight of coal after burning completely [7, 8]. It is usually referred to as gross calorific value (GCV) or higher heating value (HHV). Bomb calorimeter is used to measure the GCV of a coal sample.
ISO 1928 2009 Determination of Gross Calorific Value The ISO standard is the only international standard that allows for the estimation of hydrogen content to be calculated using Seyler’s Formula. Seyler’s calculation is only valid for most bituminous coals. Note 1. NOT valid when the estimated Hdb is less than 3% Note 2.
1991-7-21 The calorific value of coal is an important indicator of coal quality analysis. The coal with high calorific value indicates that its ash content is low and the quality is good. When the thermal coal is calculated according to the calorific value, there will be higher eco-
@article{osti_5434428, title = {Calculation of calorific value of coal/char from its ultimate analysis}, author = {Mason, D M and Talwalkar, A T}, abstractNote = {A new correlation developed to calculate calorific (heating) value of coal and char from their elemental composition is significantly better than other similar correlations. The correlation was developed by means of regression ...
In this study, the gross calorific value (GCV) of coal was accurately and rapidly determined using eight artificial intelligence models based on big data of 2583 observations of coal samples in ...

2 天前 Meaning of Calorific Value: The calorific value of a fuel is amount of heat liberated by its complete combustion. For solid and liquid fuels, calorific value is expressed in kJ/kg, whereas for gaseous fuels it is expressed as kJ/m 3 where m 3 is normal cubic metre measured at NTP conditions i.e., at 0°C temperature and 760 mm Hg barometric ...
2017-8-4 Calculate net calorific power (Kcal/m3). 5. The ultimate analysis of bituminous coal (dry basis %) is : C 77, H 5.8, N 1.7, O 4.8, S 2.5 and ash 9. The moisture content is 5 %. The gross calorific power is 7650 Kcal/Kg on dry basis. Calculate a) Gross calorific value, moist basis b) Net calorific value, dry basis c) Net calorific value, moist ...
